Design dell’architetto Karl Fisher e interni di Shamir Shah, COVET NYC è completamente decorato per l’occasione con una selezione curata di mobili, illuminazione, tappezzeria e accessori dei migliori brand dell’Interior Decor di lusso europei.

Ma non di sola esposizione si tratta o dell’ambizioso e sofisticato progetto di allestimento realizzato grazie alla partner-ship tra i due top-brand… Avvolti da un’atmosfera opulenta di cristalli, passamanerie, velluti e da quanto di meglio il design hand-crafted ha da offrire, ciò che sperimentiamo è molto più di un godimento estetico e di una semplice carrellata di preziosi manufatti e arredi nella cripta di un tempio del lusso. No: come tra i lampi di una ‘Wunderkammer’ o di una Stanza principesca in cui tutto, dai quadri ai pannelli damascati alle tappezzerie delle sedie ai tappeti ai marmi policromi e alle porcellane di Sèvres, si compone in un’armonia all’insegna di “Lux, calm et volupté” (Baudelaire), – noi qui, spettatori e attori, sperimentiamo il lusso come totalizzante esperienza, potente e ispirata, di nutrimento per tutti e cinque i sensi. E dove se non a NYC, la metropoli insonne e più fervida e stimolante del mondo, abbagliante come Babilonia, si potrebbe concepire un simile spazio fatto per i sogni e per il piacere? By MG

But not just exposure is the ambitious and sophisticated set-up project realized thanks to the partner-ship between the two top-brands … Enveloped by an opulent atmosphere of crystals, trimmings, velvets and everything the best design crafted has to offer, what we experience is much more than an aesthetic enjoyment and a simple rundown of precious artifacts and furnishings in the crypt of a temple of luxury…  No: like among the flashes of a ‘Wunderkammer’ or a princely room in which everything, from paintings to damask panels to the upholstery of the chairs to the polychrome marble to carpets and to the Sèvres porcelains, is composed in a harmony of “Lux, calm et volupté” (Baudelaire), – here, spectators and actors, we experience luxury as a totalizing, powerful and inspired experience of nourishment for all five senses. And where, if not in NYC, the sleepless and most fervent and stimulating metropolis of the world, as dazzling as Babylon, could we conceive such a space made for dreams and pleasure?
