Siamo stati al party di lancio del nuovo Hotel Eden, nel cuore di Roma a due passi da Piazza di Spagna e Villa Borghese, ed è subito Hollywood. Ospite un parterre di vip e nomi della moda capitolina, l’inaugurazione, celebrata al termine di un lungo restauro, ha svelato il cambiamento preannunciato: il vecchio hotel del 1889, dopo il restyling ispirato all’urbe antica degli architetti Moinard e Bétaille, ha acquisito fisionomia e comfort di un cinquestelle lusso postmoderno. Entrato a far parte della prestigiosa Dorchester Collection, l’hotel ha ampliato le stanze e raddoppiato il personale per offrire un’accoglienza unica e personalizzata.

Anche nel corso del grande party di lancio, lo staff è stato super-efficiente nel coccolare gli invitati internazionali: una processione di finger food di aragosta, salmone, mango e capesante, assaggi di cucina fusion e di tradizione romanesca, palline di cocktail all’azoto liquido e il nuovo drink inventato dall’Eden, il Grande bellezza, con un twist di cardamomo e una spruzzata di mezcal, hanno stuzzicato gli ospiti in apertura della soirée, che performance musicali e artistiche hanno animato sino all’alba nel viavai di oltre 500 invitati. Molti assiepati attorno al Giardino Ristorante Bar del sesto piano con vista mozzafiato su San Pietro, altri  intenti a curiosare nella spa extralusso firmata da Sonya Darak, la guru personale di Leonardo DiCaprio e Gwyneth Paltrow presente alla festa. Tra loro nomi d’eccezione dello spettacolo, del collezionismo e della moda: da Margherita Buy a Isabella Ferrari, da Valeria Golino a Ginevra Elkann, da Maria Grazia Chiuri a Delfina Delettrez-Fendi. ************

Even during the big launch party, the staff was super efficient in pampering the international guests: a procession of lobster, salmon, mango and scallop finger food, sampling of fusion cuisine and Roman tradition, balls of cocktails liquid nitrogen and the new drink invented by Eden, the Great Beauty, with a twist of cardamom and a splash of mezcal, have whetted the guests at the opening of the soirée, which musical and artistic performances have animated until dawn in the coming and going of more than 500 guests. Many crowded around the Garden Restaurant Bar on the sixth floor with a breathtaking view of San Pietro, others intent to browse the extra-luxury spa designed by Sonya Darak, the personal guru of Leonardo DiCaprio and Gwyneth Paltrow at the party. Among them are the exceptional names of the show, collectibles and fashion: from Margherita Buy to Isabella Ferrari, from Valeria Golino to Ginevra Elkann, from Maria Grazia Chiuri to Delfina Delettrez-Fendi.
